WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage the team of 12+ frontend and backend developers in our Professional Services team
- Analyze the technical complexity of the requirements, estimate the effort and come up with implementation strategy of the new features
- Be responsible for the architecture of both backend (Java) and frontend (web) parts of one of our systems
- Support and mentor frontend and backend developers to help them deliver well-performing, secure and clean code in an effective manner
- Cooperate with other stakeholders and technical team leaders regarding planning process and company-wide software development strategy
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
It is definitely you we’re looking for, if you possess:
- Strong communication and team management skills
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience and broad knowledge related to Java and web development, including: HTTP, security, database modeling and web, backend and database performance, code version control (preferably Git), Webservices and APIs.
- Experience with frontend technologies/areas: Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, browser interoperability, responsive web design
- Excellent self-organization and self-motivation
- Full working proficiency in English
- Enthusiasm for e-Commerce, online solutions and related technologies
NICE-TO-HAVES
- It certainly wouldn’t hurt if you have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
- Interpersonal and team management skills
- Experience with e-commerce technologies
