Let’s Deliver is a same-day on-demand delivery service, with 100+ business clients in Poland, primarily in the gastronomy industry, with a growing presence in other industries requiring express deliveries, such as florists, auto-parts, computer parts, pet-accessories and e-commerce in general. We are the only delivery service with an average delivery time of 25 mins. Our mission is to provide a punctual and reliable delivery service, resulting in a smile on every client’s face.
We’re looking for an ambitious person, with an entrepreneurial background and experience in managing a business with support of a team, who could help us build and scale the business in Warsaw. The City Manager is expected to be responsible for the entire city, treating it as his own business, with strong support and reporting to the C.E.O.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Oversee day-to-day business of the company in the city
  •  Manage the local team to promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Acquisition of new clients and partners in the city
  • Assist the C.E.O with the preparation of short term and long term plans and budget for the city
  • Maintain the Profit & Loss statement for the city and keep it in adherence with the budget
  • Execute all sales and marketing activities in the city
  • Strategic business development of key clients / launch of new industries
  • Manage PR related to the city and communicate with the press in coordination with HQ
  • Support Operations Manager with management of daily operations
  • Report to C.E.O and maintain liaison with HQ

WHAT DO WE EXPECT:

  • Broad experience in sales or business development (preferable 2+ years of experience) OR
  • Broad experience in operational management or general management (preferable 2+ years of experience)
  • Experience in a dynamic start-up environment – added advantage
  • Analytical approach and attention to detail – ability to dig deep, analyse and resolve problems
  • Successful track record – history of meeting targets and exceeding business expectations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, partners, vendors, media
  • Eye for talent –you will need to supplement the growing operations with talented individuals, blue collar and white collar employees, working as a team and motivate them
  • Fluent English – written and communicative
