Challenge:
As a Software Developer at Shopfans.com, you will design and build features for our new e-commerce platform. You will participate in deployments and monitoring the application in production. If you are crazy about the code, get on the board and work with us.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of features for our new e-commerce platform
- Build the product infrastructure using Amazon Web Services
- Monitor production applications with significant traffic and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Work closely with analysts and data scientists to collect metrics from the applications
- Create reusable code modules and packages
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Professional experience with PHP and some MVC Framework
- Experience configuring a web servers such as Nginx or Apache
- Basic command-line skills
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL
- Understand how to use Git
You will get additional points for:
- Experience with the Symfony or Yii PHP frameworks
- Experience managing PHP project dependencies with Composer
- Experience with Javascript
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Working knowledge of a devops tool such as Ansible and Docker
